Morex Asset Management Corp. (“Morex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and applicable provincial privacy and securities laws. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use and share it, and your rights.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Identity & contact: full name, email address, phone number, province of residence.
- Investor profile: investment amount range, account type of interest, and self-reported Accredited Investor qualification.
- Consent records: the consent language you agreed to, the date/time, and the IP address from which you submitted — retained as proof of consent.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser/device information, and pages viewed.
- Marketing attribution: referring website and campaign parameters (UTM source, medium, campaign, term, content).
- Cookies and tracking pixels, including the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, used to measure and optimize advertising.
2. How we use your information
- Respond to inquiries and requests for the Offering Memorandum;
- Assess Accredited Investor eligibility and provide information about offerings, where permitted;
- Send communications you have consented to receive (and only those);
- Maintain records required for regulatory, compliance, and recordkeeping purposes;
- Measure and improve our website and advertising.
3. Consent & your communication choices (CASL)
We rely on your express consent to send you electronic messages (email, and, where applicable, SMS). We will identify ourselves as the sender and include a way to unsubscribe in every commercial electronic message. You may withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link, replying STOP to a text message, or contacting us at info@morexasset.com. We retain consent records for at least 3 years as required under CASL.
4. Cookies, pixels & advertising
We use cookies and pixels (including the Meta Pixel) to understand site usage and measure ad performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising via your Meta ad preferences and the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada.
5. When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, for the purposes above:

Some providers are located outside Canada (including the United States); your information may be processed there and may be accessible to foreign courts, law enforcement, or regulatory authorities under the laws of those jurisdictions.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described, or as required by securities, tax, and anti-spam recordkeeping obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
7. Safeguards
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit (TLS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Subject to legal limits, you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, and may withdraw consent to its use. To exercise these rights, contact our Privacy Officer below. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.
9. Children
Our services are intended for adults able to enter into binding contracts. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
